We recognize that HCPs may not be able or interested in formally prescribing cannabis products nor wanting an additional paid credential. This part of our portal is intended to give you peer-to-peer education, in order for you to help your patients make informed decisions, so you do not have to say "I don't know". The resources provided here are written by other healthcare professionals who have cannabis training and education. We plan to bring you webinars that will provide CECs/CEUs that may be sponsored by companies/organizations.

Peer-to-Peer Education
This part of our website is meant for healthcare professionals (HCPs). We are providing you with a resource for continuing education at your speed, on your time, for free. An overarching concern is that HCPs do not have enough foundational knowledge to discuss cannabis or hemp components with their patients. We hope to change that. We recognize that many HCPs are not interested in getting specialty certifications or obtaining licenses in their state to prescribe medical cannabis. Just as pharmaceutical companies employ medical science liaisons and sales reps to educate HCPs about their “drugs” – there has been a huge void with cannabis and hemp. So, consider this your place to learn, so you don’t have to tell your patients “I don’t know” – leaving them to a budtender for guidance. The analogy is like going to a “health food store” or supplement franchise and asking the sales associate for recommendations – without the training to understand their unique medical needs. If there is something you want to know more about within this space, please email us… we’ll find the expert to provide the answers… there’s a good chance someone else has the same question. There IS plenty of research that has been done with these components… know that there has never been anyone who has died from an overdose of cannabis or hemp.
